Bio
Jaela Bean-Lindo is a Bermudian-based artist who started her training at the In Motion School of Dance. At the age of 16, she was awarded a Dance Scholarship to join the Grier School’s Pre-Professional Dance Program in Tyrone, PA under the direction of Jocelyn Hrzic. Throughout her training at the Grier School, she worked with numerous choreographers such as Darrell Grand-Moultire, Kate Skarpetowska, Mike Esperanza Nancy Turano, and many others. During her time, she has earned scholarships from notable companies and intensives to further her training. Jaela currently attends Point Park University on an Artistic Achievement Scholarship. In April of 2023, she will receive a BFA in dance with a concentration in modern and a minor in Business Management. At Point Park, she has had the pleasure of training and working with Garfield Lemonius, Marc Spaulding, Jason McDole, Robyn Mineko-Williams, Christopher Huggins and Mora-Amina Parker and Winston Brown of Camille A. Brown Dance Company. She has appeared in TEDx Bermuda and performed in many other local events. Jaela is passionate about her craft and hopes to share her passion with the generations to follow her.
